Q: have you any musicl influences outside of the R&B/soul genre?

A: Maroon 5, The Beatles, Aerosmith, Jimi Hendrix. These artists understand how to connect with the audience to a point that allows the listener/viewer to transcend their current state. That is what music is about. Connection.

Q: As a new artist paving his own path in the music industry...did YOU ever consider being a CONTESTANT on a reality talent show (American Idol, X-Factor, etc.) and just riding that wave to STARDOM?

A: Funny you ask, I tried out for American Idol about 6 years ago. I made it to the second round and that was it. After that experience, I turned my focus to the long uphill battle that is, "stardom" in this industry. Very few are fortunate to not have to go through the ups, downs, lefts, and rights that is the journey to Stardom, but those who do experience this path have a different appreciation for success. I am humbled by this path and I truly believe that it will make me a better artist and person.

Q: do you think its possible for an aspiring artist to have a stable relationship?

A: I think it would be possible, especially if both parties set the expectations from the beginning and both parties understood all that comes with living the life of an aspiring artist. It is very time consuming, but when you love, you will find a way.

A: I would say a solid 5. 10 being the best. A lot more people to reach and connect to, but I am grateful for all those supporting me now.

Q: Where does more of ur musical inspiration come from; new love or love lost??

A: "Lost Love." Sometimes we give so much to love that when we lose it, the negative emotions speak a lot more clearly than the positive emotions. Like "Share My Heart Again."
